This policy explains what PDFOperations collects, how uploads are handled, and what happens after payment.

What we collect
We collect the minimum required to operate PDFOperations:
- Uploaded files and basic metadata (e.g. filename, file type) to generate your output.
- Payment status from Stripe to allow download after payment.
- Basic technical logs (e.g. request timing, errors) for reliability, abuse prevention, and support.
Uploads & processing
Files are uploaded to temporary storage to process your request (for example, to compress, merge, split, rotate, or convert files). Processing produces an output (e.g. a single PDF or a ZIP bundle) that you can download after checkout.
We do not make your uploads public. Access to outputs may be controlled by payment status and, if enabled, a share link.
Retention
We aim to delete uploaded files and outputs automatically over time. Exact deletion timing is not guaranteed (for example, operational delays, retries, system maintenance, or incident recovery).
If you purchased a share link, the output may remain accessible via that link until it expires or is removed by our cleanup process.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. PDFOperations does not store your full card details. Stripe may store and process payment information according to their policies.
Share links
If you purchase an optional share link, anyone with the link may be able to download the output. Treat share links like a password and only share them with people you trust.
